Reflection Reading
Techniques that encourage students to think deeply about what they've read by making connections, analyzing ideas, and evaluating their understanding. These strategies help learners move beyond surface-level comprehension so that they may develop critical thinking and personal insight about the passage or text.

Brainstorming
A strategy where students freely share ideas or solutions about a topic without judgment. It encourages creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking while helping generate a variety of thoughts before starting a lesson or project.

KWL Charts
Graphic organizers that help guide learning before, during, and after a lesson. The letters stand for K (what students already know), W (what they want to know), and L (what they have learned). This strategy helps activate prior knowledge, set learning goals, and reflect on new understanding.
